Many thanks to everyone who participated in the cover poll. Hopefully that was as much fun for you as it was for me.
I hope you enjoyed the covers and the bonus material over the break. It’s time to get started on a new issue of The Ripper Effect!
Mission Statement – Issue No. 2
What to say about Issue No. 2? The limitations of my artistic talents notwithstanding, I think I accomplished what I set out to do in Issue No. 1. There was action, drama, and humor — I know I made at least a few people laugh along the way — so I think overall it worked out.
With Issue No. 2, my hope was to further set the stage, introduce new characters, and really expand upon what I built with Issue No. 1. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how my art improves across this issue — there are plenty of panels I simply could not have drawn during the time when I was working on Issue No. 1.
In Issue No. 2 we start to get a bigger glimpse of the world of The Ripper Effect, and where these storylines are heading. I can’t wait for you to read it!
